Do not try to style the hair with a fine wispy fringe coming forwards the hair will keep jumping, leaving a parting on the growth patterns. Do style the hair with a heavy fringe or asymmetrical fringe on the opposite side to weigh the jump down. Or take the hair back off the face in the direction of the jump.

WIDOW’S PEAK

The hair comes down to a point on the forehead in a ‘V’ shape.

Do not style the hair over to one side with a side parting as it will give the appearance of missing hair in the temple area. Style either with a wispy fringe coming forward or sweep the hair back off the forehead. Hair can be dressed in a middle parting if long.

DOUBLE CROWN

The hair grows in circles in different directions on the crown, causing that hair to stick up when it is short.

Do not style the hair in the opposite direction to the growth as the hair will revert back to its natural tendencies in moist conditions or within a few days.

The final product most people use is a good quality, flexible hair spray or spritz. Depending on the style you are trying to achieve, either firm hold or gentle hold spray will work best. For updos and long hair a firmer hold is generally needed, whereas softer curls and shorter hair may be fine with a light hold spray or spritz.
